Proper Use and Handling of Refrigerant Grade HC’s.

This 3-part training course will introduce the attendee to ever changing SEER 2 equipment regulations that have been in effect since 2023.

The second section will explain HFO refrigerant R-454b and HFC refrigerant R-32. These two refrigerants have been chosen to replace R-410a. The final section of the course will be an introduction to HC refrigerants R-290 (Propane) and R-600a (Isobutane) now being used in household appliances, commercial coolers, freezers and vending machines.

The attendees will learn the latest new equipment regulations and how it affects their companies. They will learn why there is a phase down of R-410a, and what government regulations will be required of the contractor when using flammable refrigerants. The class will discuss important safety procedures and how the changes in equipment, refrigerants and government regulations will dramatically affect residential AC equipment and appliances going forward.

It is important that distributor managers, technicians, sales, operations, contractor owners, HVAC students and trade associations attend this state approved course.
